Economic Development holds forum

Chester County, the Chester County Development Association and Chester County Economic Development will host an Economic Development Forum for the residents of Chester County. The event will be held at The Gateway located at 3202 Commerce Drive in Richburg on Wednesday, Nov. 16 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Mike Enoch, chair of the Chester Development Association, will give the welcome. Speakers include Sandy Martin of Duke Energy and Randy Broome of Broome Consulting and Development. Also, Jayne Scarborough, director of the Olde English District, will speak on tourism and economic development. There will be an update to the strategic plan presented by Crystal Morphis, managing partner of Sanford Holshouser Economic Development Consulting. A 15 minute session will be offered for public questions. Space is limited to 100 participants.
