Catawba Regional Council of Governments conducted an analysis of the Lancaster County’s Unified Development Ordinance during the first half of 2014. The purpose of the project was to identify sections of the code needing improved efficiency and functionally to be most effective and to make recommendations to better implement the Comprehensive Plan. This project included extensive input from County staff and the update of the Unified Development Ordinance is currently underway.
