NOTICE OF FIFTEEN DAY (15) PUBLIC REVIEW AND INTENT TO AMEND THE TIP AND SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING PROJECTS TO SCDOT FOR THE CATAWBA REGION. THE CATAWBA REGION INCLUDES CHESTER, LANCASTER, UNION, AND YORK COUNTIES IN SOUTH CAROLINA.
I. FY 2014-2019 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) – An amendment to the Program which includes the following changes / additions:
- SC 160 (Lancaster County) right-of-way costs decreased from $7.6 million to $3.253 million.
- SC 160 (Lancaster County) construction moved from FY2014 to FY2015 and increased from $6.3 million to $7 million.
- Hanging Rock Creek Bridge (Lancaster County) replacement moved from FY2014 to FY2015 at $195,000.
- SC 9 West & Crenshaw Parkway (Chester County) – Intersection improvement added to FY 2014 at $250,000.
- SC 9 East & Commerce Drive (Chester County) – Intersection improvement added to FY 2014 at $250,000.
- SC 72/121 & SC 97, S-12-275 (Chester County) – Intersection improvement added to FY 2014 at $360,000.
- SC 522/Buford School (Lancaster County) – Safety improvement added to FY 2014 at $360,000.
- S-29-67/Hubbard Drive (Lancaster County) – Safety improvement added to FY 2014 at $60,000.
- US 521/Andrew Jackson School (Lancaster County) – Safety improvement added to FY 2014 at $360,000.
- SC 72 (Union County) – Resurfacing project added to FY 2013 at $740,000, FY 2014 at $744,000 and FY 2015 at $749,000 for a total of $2,233,000.
- SC 49 (Union County) – Resurfacing project added to FY 2014 at $3,400,000.
- S-422/Green Pond Road (York County) – Resurfacing project added to FY 2014 at $1,085,000.
