Chester County Job Fair Update

SC Works partnered with Chester County Economic Development to host a Job Fair at the Gateway Conference Center on Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Job seekers had the ability to meet employers, apply for jobs, interview and potentially be hired on the spot.

Jobs that were available at the job fair included Correctional Officers, Food Service Specialists, Nurses (RN and LPN), Forklift Driver, Mechanic, Electrician, Recruiting Manager, Machine Operator, Finance Director, Utility Worker, CDL Drivers, HR Director, Welders, Assembly, QC Lab Technician, Quality Control Manager, Material Handler, Warehouse Associate, Janitorial Supervisor, Sewing Machine Operator, and Front Desk Associate, among others.

Employers that attended the job fair were South Carolina Department of Corrections, Carolina Poly, Staffmark, Integrity Staffing, Outokumpu Stainless Bar LLC, City of Chester, Boise Cascade, Roseburg Forest Products, Peak Workforce Solutions, NFI Industries, Coroplast Tape Corporation, Guardian Industries, Coatex, Inc., DMSI, Meritor, York Technical College, Chester – Lancaster Disabilities & Special Needs Board, The Budd Group, Giti Tires, Unique USA Inc., Footprint, Phillips Staffing, Sun Fiber LLC, Holiday Inn Express & Suites of Richburg, and Chester County Sheriff’s Office.
