NOTICE OF FIFTEEN DAY (15) PUBLIC REVIEW AND INTENT TO AMEND THE TIP AND SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING PROJECTS TO SCDOT FOR THE CATAWBA REGION. THE CATAWBA REGION INCLUDES CHESTER, LANCASTER, UNION AND YORK COUNTIES IN SOUTH CAROLINA.
I. FY 2013-2017 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) – An amendment to the Program which includes the following changes / additions:
A. SC 160 (Lancaster County) construction moved from FY2015 to FY2016 and increased from $7 million to $8.4 million. This project transferred to the RFATS MPO effective 10.01.2014.
B. SC 9 West & Crenshaw Parkway (Chester County) – Intersection improvement moved from FY 2014 to FY 2015 and increased from $250,000 to $400,000.
C. SC 9 East & Commerce Drive (Chester County) – Intersection improvement moved from FY 2014 to FY 2015-16 and increased from $250,000 to $360,000.
D. SC 72 & S-329 (McCandless Road in Chester County) – Intersection improvement moved from FY 2014 to FY 2016-17 and increased from $360,000 to $825,000.
E. SC 522/Buford School (Lancaster County) – Safety improvement moved from FY 2014 to FY 2015-17, remained at $360,000.
F. S-29-67/Hubbard Drive (Lancaster County) – Safety improvement moved from FY 2014 to FY 2015 and increased from $60,000 to $100,000.
G. US 521/Andrew Jackson School (Lancaster County) – Safety improvement moved from FY 2014 to FY 2016-17 and remained at $360,000.
H. SC 72 (Union County) – Resurfacing project moved from FY 2014 to FY 2015 and increased from $2,233,000 to $2,530,000.
I. SC 49 (Union County) – Resurfacing project moved from FY 2014 to FY 2015 and increased from $3,400,000 to $3,910,000.
J. S-422/Green Pond Road (York County) – Resurfacing project moved from FY 2014 to FY 2015 and increased from $1,085,000 to 1,248,000.
