Catawba Regional tracks building permit activity as a means of monitoring growth. We have now completed the report showing building permit activity throughout the Catawba Region for the second quarter (April – June) of 2011. The report gives you quick access to permit totals by county and major municipalities along with an indication of the growth areas in your county. We have attached a table comparing permit totals between the second quarters of 2010 and 2011. This table shows that some of the region experienced increases in single family residential activity. Multi-family and mobile home permit totals were generally down as were commercial and industrial permit totals. Link to table.
