Council voted unanimously to award the bid for Monarch Mill Village Phase I sewer improvements to C & W Utilities, Inc. in the amount of $474,465.50, pending approval of funding through the South Carolina Department of Commerce’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program.
Eight bids were received on Jan. 10 at City Hall, and C&W Utilities, Inc. was the lowest bidder.
Proposed funding for the project is through the CDBG Program and administered through the Catawba Regional Planning Council.
