Ms. Tonya Graham became a dislocated worker in October of 2006 after being laid off from the Springs-Katherine Plant, a textile facility in Chester, SC. Through services offered by TRADE and WIA she was able to attain not only her GED but, also, an Associate Degree. She attended Chester Adult Education where she obtained her GED in April 2007. Once Tonya received her GED, she enrolled in York Technical College and received an Associate Degree in General Business in May of 2010. While attending York Technical College, Tonya served as president of Phi Beta Lambda, a national business education association for college students pursuing business careers. Tonya is currently employed as a WIA Certification Specialist with ResCare Workforce Services located at SCWorks in Chester, SC.
